Sutton-Garten Launches New Website for 2026
February 17, 2026The Sutton-Garten Company, a leading supplier of dry ice and dry ice blasting equipment, announces the Grand Opening of their new facility in East Chicago, Indiana. To celebrate the occasion and engage with the local community, the company will host an Open House event on November 11th.
As seen in Northwest Indiana Business Magazine
“We are excited to be in Northwest Indiana to serve Chicagoland customers who need quality dry ice for cold storage, shipping and even personal use. Additionally, with dry ice blasting equipment available for rent, we are poised to provide all of Chicagoland both the dry ice product and blasting equipment for industrial cleaning,” said Matt Garten, Vice President of Sutton-Garten.
During the final stages of facility improvements, Sutton-Garten was hit by Storm Derecho like many who live, work and commute in and out of the region. Though the storm delayed completion of the facility, Sutton-Garten made their presence known in the community by donating dry ice, and assisting the East Chicago’s Paying it Forward with a truckload of supplies for the East Chicago community.
“We are very proud of our team in East Chicago. Regardless of the circumstances and what we were going through at the plant, we were able to find time to assist a community in need, and when something drastic like this happens, we think helping others in need is important,” said Pat Garten, President of Sutton-Garten.
The Open House will be held on Wednesday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sutton-Garten facility located at 5204 Indianapolis Boulevard in East Chicago. All are welcome, though the event will primarily benefit those who work in industrial facilities across Chicagoland. The Open House will include facility tours, lunch, and educational sessions on dry ice production, blasting equipment, and cleaning applications. Special guests from Cold Jet will be on hand to provide live demonstrations of dry ice blasting.
“One of our main objectives at the open house will be to generate awareness of the dry ice blasting process and its efficacy for cleaning industrial equipment. It doesn’t damage surfaces or important components and it leaves no secondary waste. It is non-toxic, making it safe for employees. Dry ice blasting is fast becoming the preferred equipment cleaning process for facility maintenance teams in food and beverage, plastics and rubber manufacturing, and packaging, to name a few,” shares Matt Garten.
