Sutton-Garten President, Pat Garten and Ben Werner, Welding Sales Director, received one of Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative’s (IWDC) top awards at the IWDC Sales and Purchasing convention held in Indianapolis June 22-24, 2025.

For recording the largest dollar increase in total purchases in 2024 versus 2023 among 140 independent welding distributors in the United States, Sutton-Garten was recognized in front of all attendees at this year’s event.

“Sutton-Garten’s dedication and achievements are truly appreciated, and it was an honor to recognize their contributions during the event,” said Jenne Carney, IWDC Manager of Events and Membership.

The IWDC is a Member-owned purchasing and marketing cooperative. Its Membership and approved manufacturers/suppliers work together to grow and strengthen a North American network of independent gas and hard goods distributors. IWDC Members are leading independent Welding & Gas distributors located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
